Non-Surgical Nose Jobs: All About Injective Rhinoplasty

In a normal rhinoplasty procedure, incisions are made into the nose, a process you can read about here. However, there exists an alternate procedure called an injective rhinoplasty, where no incisions into the nose are made. This article will discuss injective rhinoplasty in some more detail.

Injective rhinoplasty, sometimes referred to as "Botox" or a "Non-Surgical Nose Job", is a process where filler is injected into the nose to either camouflage asymmetries or augment the structure of the nose. The filler used is usually a hyaluronic acid based mix. The common fillers typically last a little less than a year, assuming the procedure was successful. When the filler expires, the procedure may be repeated as needed.

Compared to regular rhinoplasty, injective rhinoplasty has a lower initial cost and there are less things that can go wrong during surgery. However, due to the neccesity of annual replacement, injective rhinoplasty will cost more over time, and due to the simplicity of the surgery, there are less possible improvements.

Although it varies case by case, in an injective rhinoplasty, doctors usually recommend a timeframe of about 4 weeks of not wearing regular glasses. Regardless of the type of rhinoplasty you choose to receive, Doctor CO Eyeglasses will protect your delicate post-surgical nose from any further damage.
